Andrew Warland has worked with information and records throughout his working life. Until mid 2019 he worked for UnitingCare NSW/ACT (now Uniting) as the senior data and information architect and management of SharePoint, as well as being a Microsoft 365 Global Admin from 2016. He is a founding member of a Customer Advisory Board (CAB) established by the UK Information and Records Management Society (IRMS), the purpose of which has been to help influence the direction of the records management capabilities provided within the Microsoft 365 platform.
Prior to Uniting he worked for APRA for 6 months. From 2009 to late 2011 he was the Senior Systems Administrator at the City of Sydney implementing the digital recordkeeping strategy. He worked for Converga as their senior information management consultant from 1999 to 2009. Prior to that period, from 1982, he worked for the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in various roles.
