David Ernest Warland (1922 - 7 July 2015) was the eldest child (of 5) of Pastor Ernest (Roy) Warland (2 February 1898, Waterford, Ireland - March 1976 at Watford).
David Ernest Warland married Dorothy Helen Keeble in Watford, UK, in 1944.
David Ernest Warland, said to have been a fitter, migrated to Hobert, Tasmania, Australia with his family in January 1959 (Immigration file reference 1958/1066).
Dorothy Helen Warland aged 54 (so born around 1921) died in 1975 and was buried at Cornelian Bay Cemetery - north of Hobart on 21 November 1975. Curiously, her name is recorded as Dorothy Helen Warland Barnes in one online cemetery record.
At some point after Dorothy died, David married Noela Barrett.
David Ernest Warland died on 7 July 2015 (Source: Ryerson Index). His gravestone states that he was the husband of Noela and the father of Josephine Warland, Steven Warland, Verity Warland and Kim Warland.
The funeral of a Bryan Charles Warland is recorded the day after, also in Hobart according to the Ryerson Index; this may be a transcription error.
Noela Warland appeared in the web story of the Eastern Shore Sun, a Tasmanian Community Newspaper about the Rosny Neighbourhood Centre in 2018.
